DOST taps The IRIS to lead sessions on Capacity Building Programs on RDI for DOST Regional Offices.

The important role of the DOST Regional Offices is increasingly recognized in influencing the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) landscape of the country.


For this reason, DOST-CAR and DOST-MIMAROPA, through its DOST-Human Resource Development Program, tapped the Institutes for Research, Innovation and Scholarship (The IRIS) to conduct series of sessions for its nationwide training program "Capacity Building Programs on RDI for DOST Regional Offices."
This training program aims to train Regional Offices, through its senior leadership teams and administrative officers, in implementing research, development, and innovation activities, particularly enabling the regions to identify R&D gaps needed thereby effectively prioritizing R&D implementation to address these gaps, and improve the skills of the regional staff in facilitating ideation activities. The program will run from September 1 to October 7, 2020.
